Helsinki 5 - 7 April 2013
From April 5 to April 7, 2013, the Inârah Institute, the University of Helsinki and Keymedia will host “the Origins of the Qur’ān,” an international conference addressing the most recent theories, controversies, and discoveries in Qur’ān’s origins. This conference will be a unique forum
for a discussion of the latest findings of the history of the Qur’ān.
The twelve sessions of the conference will present the latest academic findings in research of the ancient Qur’an and its manuscripts as well as the most recent research on the chronology, history, and language of the Qur’an.
Leading scholars from a wide range of countries—including Germany, USA, France, Canada, and Russia—will lead the panel discussions.
